About
The first of its kind to premiere in southeast Alaska, the Ketchikan Dance Film Festival is a free bi-annual public event that highlights dance works produced within the state of Alaska & beyond. The indoor screening of films is followed by a Meet & Greet reception where Official Selection film artists are invited to speak about their work with the community.
Mission
The mission of the Ketchikan Dance Film Festival is to provide an accessible presentation of works from dance filmmakers within the state of Alaska and from around the world.

-12 minutes & under
-All films must in some way, employ both choreographic concepts and the language of film.
-Artists must have copyright permissions for all submitted media and be able to demonstrate these rights upon request.
-Lastly, because our festival screening is free and open to the public we cannot accept submissions that include extreme violence or nudity.
